Nothing Deepens Its Roots in India

Nothing, the UK-based consumer tech brand, has announced two major developments that signal its growing commitment to India. The company will open its first flagship retail store in the country later this year. In addition, it will establish the global headquarters for its sub-brand CMF in India.

Made in India, For the World

Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing, shared the news via a post on X (formerly Twitter). He highlighted that the upcoming Phone (3) series is being manufactured in India and exported globally. With increasing demand and momentum in the Indian market, Evangelidis confirmed the brand’s decision to anchor operations more deeply in the region.

Nothing : A Flagship Store for Fans and Shoppers

Evangelidis also revealed plans to open Nothing’s first retail flagship store in India, offering customers a hands-on experience with the brand’s popular smartphones, wearables, and accessories. The physical store will allow fans to explore, test, and purchase products directly a big move for a brand known mostly for its online presence.

CMF’s Global Headquarters Coming to India

The company’s sub-brand CMF by Nothing, which focuses on affordable design-led tech, will have its global HQ based in India. Evangelidis mentioned that the team is actively building leadership with local talent and focusing operations where they see the “strongest momentum.”

Following Apple’s Footsteps?

This announcement comes shortly after Apple opened new flagship stores in India, including locations in Bangalore and Pune. Industry watchers expect Nothing to follow suit, possibly launching stores in metro cities like Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bangalore. With local manufacturing, leadership hiring, and now a flagship retail presence, Nothing is clearly betting big on India not just as a market, but as a global hub for its future growth.
