Chinese actress Zhao Lusi hospitalised, wheelchair goes viral, team issues statement. Zhao Lusi, known for her role in Hidden Love, was recently hospitalised, sparking concerns over her health. Her team shared a statement and announced a suspension of all work commitments for a speedy recovery.


Zhao Lusi, the global superstar behind Hidden Love, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, Who Rules The World, and Cinderella Chef. was recently hospitalized. Zhao was spotted in a wheelchair as she was brought to the hospital on December 18, and video of the incident went viral on social media. Her health has also been the subject of speculation, and her team has issued a statement in response.

According to reports, she became ill while working on her most recent assignment, appearing weak and wobbly as she arrived at the hospital with her colleagues. Online rumors speculated serious depression or a neurological disease, with insiders noting work-related stress as a probable cause.

 

According to reports Zhao Lusi has entrusted her friend to update on her condition. She is now slowly regaining her ability to speak and has started standing up for rehab training. Her friend expressed hopes that someone would take responsibility and provide a clear explanation of what happened.

The 26 year old actress entered the entertainment industry by hosting the variety program Huo Xing Qing Bao Ju and made her acting debut with a supporting role in the web drama Cinderella Chef. 

She gained International attention for her supporting role in the historical romance series Untouchable Lovers. The same year, she played her first leading role in the time-travel historical drama Oh! My Emperor. The series gained popularity and led to increased recognition for Zhao. She received the Newcomer award at the Golden Bud–The Third Network Film And Television Festival. She was last starred in  periodic drama The Story of Pearl Girl which is now streaming on Netflix.
