Xiaomi launched the new Redmi 15C 5G in some global markets. The phone is targeted for budget buyers, showcasing premium specs but at a reasonable price point. Poland is the first to receive the phone on official sites, as Xiaomi starts to push its budget portfolio to all corners of the globe. Just a few days ago, China saw the launch of the Redmi 15R 5G smartphone, which borrows from a similar formula with the same emphasis on strong specs on a budget.
The Redmi 15C 5G has a priced for PLN 799 in Poland, which is roughly equal to Rs 19,500 and comes with 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The price is discounted straightaway to PLN 699. For a short promotional period, this price serves to discount approx. Rs 2,500. The phone is available in Dusk Purple, Midnight Black, or Mint Green, and can be ordered directly from Xiaomi’s website now.
The Redmi 15C 5G smartphone runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 with a sizeable 6.9-inch Dot Drop display. The display offers a refresh rate of 120Hz with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz – for responsiveness across tasks. The phone has a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and peaks at 660 nits of brightness in normal settings, reaching even higher at 810nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM). In order to provide a more comfortable viewing experience, the display is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light and flicker-free viewing.
Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process ensuring it handles everyday performance needs with ease, and offers 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, expandable storage of 256GB eMMC 5.1, expandable to 1TB via microSD card. This configuration is ideal for gaming and multitasking.
The tail end camera has a stunning 50MP AI primary sensor with another sensor for improved shots alongside it. The front takes 8MP photos for selfies and video calls. Sharp photos in daylight and low-light photography and AI software enhancement will automatically make your pictures look even better.
