The three-camera setup consists of three 50MP lenses: a main lens, a telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide lens. The primary sensor has an f/1.67 aperture that is capable of producing sharp images. The telephoto lens has 5x optical zoom. Furthermore, the phone has also achieved IP69 waterproof and dustproof ratings. This phone can easily withstand a long immersion underwater.
The basic model of the Xiaomi 17 is offered with a 6.3-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. A 7,000mAh battery is included to allow for a longer use time. The device offers 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The three-camera setup also consists of three 50M cameras (main, telephoto lens, ultra-wide lens). Xiaomi plans to target the buyers of the iPhone 17 directly since it has skipped numbering altogether. They will have the same price points for the base models that they do for the iPhone models. For example, the Guangzhou price will still start around CNY 4,499 for the base model, like they did on the Xiaomi 15. The global launch will come later this year.
