iOS 26 had over 200 different updates, one of which is the beautiful Liquid Glass appearance. In addition to the larger changes, there are smaller features that make using the iPhone day to day a little easier. Here are some hidden tips that are sure to enhance your usage experience.
Simply select the text you want to keep in Messages. Long tap on the message and select the “select” option to either highlight the entire message or only a certain part, such as a URL or address.
Use Siri to save recipes into Reminders. Select the text of the recipe, share the selected text to Reminders, and Siri will automatically create a shopping list or a recipe.
Set default apps to open files in the Files app. Long tap on a file, select “Get Info,” and then select “Always Open With” as the default option.
Use an MP3 or M4A file to create your own ringtone. Long tap on the file, select Quick Look, now share, and use the link “Use as Ringtone.” The limit applies up to 30 seconds.
Check and view unsaved text messages in Messages. Click on the three line icon, select Filters, and the Drafts folder.
Select panoramas that are clearer than before. iOS 26 has successfully eliminated blur, even when you move quickly while taking a photograph.
Find the Exact Moment in Video Search for videos in Photos. Enter the search term and as it loads, you’ll see all the thumbnails of that exact frame where the content exists or is mentioned, and allows you to click that thumbnail to jump to the exact moment.
With iPhone 15 and later, you’ll receive a warning about it if the rear cameras have dirty lenses! This means that your pictures will look much clearer, sharper, and vibrant.
We can tint the Home Screen icons to match your MagSafe case! Long-press your Home Screen, tap edit in the upper-right corner, tap customize in the mid-right corner, and choose tinted.
You will be able to view concert information in Photos! iOS 26 displays the top songs and the next shows coming up for any event that you capture in an image.
Missed a call? Schedule a reminder to call them back! Simply swipe left on the missed call, tap the clock, and select the time you want to call back.
If you would like the audio to stay in your AirPods, you must turn this feature off. The setting is located under General in your Settings. Tap AirPlay and Continuity, and turn on “Keep Audio in Headphones”.
Going back to the previous screen is easy with a quick swipe, or it is when you do it correctly. Just swipe right anywhere on the screen; any screen, not just the edge of it, and you should go back a step.
