Sony released the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for October 2025 during its latest State of Play presentation. The catalog features a good mixture of new and past games. Subscribers will experience a selection of major new releases, indie titles, and some remastered games.
Alan Wake 2 is launching for PlayStation Plus on October 7th. Players will assume the role of Saga Anderson, who hunts for murderers in Bright Falls – meanwhile, Alan Wake is trying to combat the growing darkness in a questionably alternate reality. It appears that this survival adventure and sequel will be a must play.
On October 7th, Goat Simulator 3 will be coming to play on PlayStation Plus. Players will take control of the might Pilgor, the goat, and create havoc with your friends. Play right alongside with up to three players online in cooperative play. Compete in (and laugh at) all of the mini-games.
Also on October 7th, Cocoon will be playable. Explore alien worlds and solve complex puzzles using unique machines. Collect Orbs to gain new abilities to your developing gameplay. Each unique biome has a guardian that will help to create a challenging experience.
The Last of Us Part 2 arrives on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on September 26, the remastered PS5 version, coinciding with The Last of Us Day. Take a leap back into Ellie’s heartfelt adventure in enhanced graphics.
Sony is looking to add to the Classics Catalog in early 2026, including popular classics like Tekken 3, a competitive fighting game, and Soulcalibur 3, to bring the drama of battle. Tomb Raider Anniversary launches Lara Croft’s famed adventures back into the lineup of titles long-time PlayStation fans have played.
With all October 2025 available with a standard PlayStation Plus membership, we have even more value for Extra and Premium members. The Extra tier gets remastered titles and the Classics Catalog for even more fun.
This lineup for October offers something for everyone, from survival horror to chaotic fun and brain-bending puzzles. The early addition of The Last of Us Part 2 is a massive benefit. Classics like Tekken 3 keep nostalgic titles in the gaming spirit, and Sony
continues to deliver PlayStation Plus, with offerings that keep great value.
