This dual capture video recording has existed for some time now on iPhones with iOS 13, but at the time, only through third-party camera apps. With the new iPhone 17, users have access to dual capture video directly in the iPhone camera.

Note: The Dual capture option will record video at 30 frames per second, and not at 60 or 120 FPS.
