Samsung just released Galaxy M17 5G in India. It will now be compared to Vivo Y31 5G and Redmi 15 5G. These three phones are part of the budget 5G segment. As a result, this comparison gives the best value for money device.
The price of Samsung M17 5G is ₹12,499 for the base version. The 8GB RAM variant of it will be sold for ₹15,499. Vivo Y31 5G has the starting price of ₹14,999. The Redmi 15 5G comes with a price tag of ₹14,999 for a basic version. It also includes an 8GB+256GB model that costs ₹16,999.
For Samsung M17 5G, the company has chosen a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display. The peak brightness is 1100 nits. Vivo Y31 5G display is a 6.68-inch HD+ LCD one. It has a 120Hz refresh rate. While the Redmi 15 5G has a 6.9-inch FHD+ display. The refresh rate is 144Hz.
The Samsung M17 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery. Along with this, it is compatible with a 25W quick charge. Although the Vivo Y31 5G battery is only 6,500mAh it can be charged faster at 44W. While Redmi 15 5G sacrifices on a 33W charging for a 7,000mAh battery and reverse charging capabilities.
Samsung M17 5G is powered by the 6nm Exynos 1330 chipset. Vivo Y31 5G consists of a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. Redmi 15 5G is controlled by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. All of them are efficient in 5G connectivity.
Samsung M17 5G main camera is 50MP with OIS. Alongside 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensors are included. Meanwhile, a 13MP front camera is for taking selfies. A 50MP dual rear system is what Vivo Y31 5G is equipped with. Plus a front camera of 8MP. Redmi 15 5G is equipped with a single 50MP rear camera. Together with an 8MP front camera are used for pictures.
Samsung M17 5G comes with Android 15 and One UI 7 pre-installed. Vivo Y31 5G is on Android 15 and FuntouchOS 15. Redmi 15 5G is equipped with Android 15 and HyperOS 2.0. All three assure seamless use.
The Samsung M17 5G Super AMOLED screen is worth having. Vivo Y31 5G is your go-to for quick 44W charging. Get Redmi 15 5G if you want the biggest battery with you. Your most important task will be to determine which phone is the best one.
