ISRO’s Heaviest Satellite Launch: Boosting India’s Space Power

ISRO’s Heaviest Satellite: Indian space communication is going to achieve another milestone by launching one of the heaviest rockets into space. CMS-03 communication satellite, which the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is getting ready to launch on November 2, 2025.


The launch vehicle LVM-3.3, which was previously used for delivering Chandrayan-3 to the moon, is going to be used again for this mission. According to the reports given by ISRO, this is going to be the fifth operational flight of the LVM3 rocket. CMS-03 will be the CMS series’ fifth operational satellite after launch.

Heaviest Communication Satellite From India:
The CMS-03 is the biggest communication satellite ever launched from Indian soil into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO), weighing approximately 4,400 kilograms. Strong and reliable communication services are intended to be provided throughout the Indian mainland and adjacent maritime regions by this multi-band communication satellite. The launch vehicle has been completely put together and integrated with the spacecraft, according to ISRO. On October 26, the rocket was transferred to the launch pad for last-minute inspections and pre-launch activities.

Plans on Future Space Missions:
The adventure of ISRO doesn’t end here. According to the reports, Chandrayaan 4 and Chandrayaan 5 work is in progress. It is also reported that India is planning to own a space station by 2035. As per the reports and announcements, India’s first Venus Orbiter mission, which is also called Chandrayaan 4, is going to be launched soon. The planet’s surface and atmosphere investigation will also begin soon. The ambitious Gaganyaan human space mission, which would take three astronauts to a 400-kilometer orbit for three days before making a safe landing in Indian sea waters, is another project that ISRO is getting ready for.

Captain Shubanshu Shukla, who has participated in NASA’s Axiom-4 Mission and recently returned to India, has made every Indian proud.

Successful Chandrayan 3 Mission:
India has made history in 2023 by successfully landing on the lunar south pole with the help of the LVM3 rocket. This mission, which is named Chandrayaan 3, has enhanced IRSO’s reputation internationally and shown India’s space advancements to the world.
