The Girlfriend Vs Jatadhara 2 Days Box Office Report: Who Earned Least?

The Girlfriend Vs Jatadhara There were two films released over the weekend that were of a middle-sized nature, both of which were Telugu films: The Girlfriend with Rashmika Mandanna and Jatadhara starring Sudheer Babu-Sonakshi Sinha. Neither of these films did well at the box office but compared to each other, The Girlfriend has taken the clear lead over Jatadhara, which is otherwise an overall run below expectations.

The initial buzz created by Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend is mostly lukewarm and does not have enough kick for creating a sustainable momentum. The First Day collection was ₹1.30 crores (Telugu 1.23 crores; Hindi 0.07 crores), despite mixed reviews for the film, Day 2 reflected a slight upturn with ₹2.50 crores (early estimates).
This takes the two-day total to ₹ 3.80 crores cumulative for all languages. Not exceptionally high considering the nature of releases this week, but better than others. The numbers are still small for a film having a popular star like Rashmika. The Girlfriend is at the moment enjoying a very slight edge, but it requires a heavy push on Sunday to continue through the week.

Jatadhara 2 Days Box Office Collection

In contrast, Jatadhara with Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha has been lagging behind since release. The movie opened to ₹1.07 crores on Day 1 (Telugu – ₹0.85 crores; Hindi – ₹0.22 crores) but couldn’t sustain its initial momentum on Day 2, earning just ₹0.89 crores (early estimates).
The two-day total of ₹1.96 crores shows that the film has not reached far and has poor word of mouth. Even though this is Sonakshi’s Telugu debut and Sudheer has really tried, audiences have not connected with the film.

The Girlfriend Vs Jatadhara Who Won?

While both films may have delivered lackluster figures, The Girlfriend with Rashmika Mandanna seems to be doing better than Jatadhara with Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha. While this romantic drama may not hit the charts as a big hit, it certainly edges out this box office face-off.
