Apple is expanding its services for Indian users. They are upgrading the AppleCare+ program. This new plan offers better device security. It specifically helps iPhone owners. The new feature is called Theft and Loss coverage. It provides a replacement iPhone if yours is stolen. You can also get a new phone if you lose it. This is Apple’s first full security plan for India. Customers can choose monthly or annual payment options.
AppleCare+ now offers complete device protection. It covers unlimited repairs for your iPhone. The plan includes battery service support. You get access to 24/7 priority technical support. It also covers replacement of Apple parts. The main highlight is the theft and loss coverage. You can file a claim for a lost device. Apple will then provide a replacement iPhone. This upgraded coverage is now available for eligible users.
The user may select AppleCare+ with a monthly plan. The beginning price is 799 rupees per month. Payment in full for the plan is available as well. The total price for a two-year plan varies depending on the model of iPhone. The price for the iPhone 16e is 10,900 rupees. The price for the iPhone 16 and 17 is 14,900 rupees. The iPhone 16 plus costs 17,900 rupees. The iPhone Air, 17 Pro, and Pro Max cost 20,900 rupees. These products also have coverage available with iPad, Mac, and Watch. The prices for these products will also vary.
Customers can file up to two replacement requests per year and for each replacement customer’s must also pay a service fee. Apple will get you a replacement device based on similar usage. Customers must ensure Find My is enabled on the device, the device must be linked with Apple ID, customers must use the same Apple ID when filing the claim, a police report must be filed based on the incident, and a copy of the FIR must be submitted to complete the claim process. Claims may fail without an FIR.
