New Vande Bharat Express:
A happy announcement has been made for people travelling to Tirupati and Bengaluru. The Indian Railways has confirmed a new Vande Bharat Express that will run between Vijayawada and Bengaluru through Tirupati. This high-speed train will make the journey more comfortable and save valuable time for passengers, especially devotees visiting the famous Tirumala temple.
For a long time, people were waiting for a direct and fast train service on this route. Although the proposal was approved earlier, the launch was delayed due to technical and coach availability issues. Now, the Railways has fixed the muhurat, and reports suggest that the train will start its service from December 10.
This new Vande Bharat will reduce travel time significantly. Passengers can reach Tirupati from Vijayawada in just four and a half hours. The total travel time from Vijayawada to Bengaluru will be around nine hours. Compared to other trains, this service will save nearly three hours, making it a great option for frequent travellers.
The train will consist of 8 coaches, including 7 AC Chair Cars and 1 Executive Chair Car, offering a smooth and modern travel experience. It will run six days a week, except on Tuesdays.
The train number 20711 will depart from Vijayawada at 5:15 AM and stop at Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, and Krishnarajapuram before reaching SMVT Bengaluru at 2:15 PM. For the return journey, train number 20712 will leave Bengaluru at 2:45 PM and reach Vijayawada by 11:45 PM, following the same route in reverse.
This service is expected to be a big relief for pilgrims going to Tirupati and for passengers travelling to Bengaluru for work or personal reasons. With faster travel, modern facilities, and better comfort, the Vande Bharat Express continues to improve rail connectivity in the Telugu states.
Overall, this new train is a welcome step by Indian Railways and will surely make travel more convenient for thousands of people every day.
