The new Tata Sierra carries the classic design of the old model but with a bold, modern twist. Its sharp front look and wide body give it a strong road presence, showing Tata’s focus on style and comfort.
A major highlight is the availability of petrol, diesel, and electric versions. The petrol and diesel models get a 1.5L engine, while the electric Sierra comes with two battery options offering over 500 km range on a single charge.
Inside, the SUV feels premium with a triple-screen setup, including a large infotainment screen, digital driver display, and a separate passenger screen. Features like a 12-speaker JBL system with Dolby Atmos, ventilated seats, wireless charging, dual-zone AC, panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting enhance comfort.
Safety features include six airbags, ABS, EBD, Hill Assist, TPMS, and a 360-degree camera. It also offers ADAS functions such as lane assist and automatic emergency braking.
In the mid-size SUV segment, it will compete with the Creta, Seltos, Taigun, Kushaq, Elevate, and Grand Vitara. Prices are expected to start at around Rs 11 lakh and go up to Rs 20 lakh, while the electric variant may cost between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh.
Overall, the new Sierra combines classic charm with modern tech and multiple engine choices, making it a strong contender in the Indian SUV market.
