Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie Varanasi has already created huge excitement among fans. The film is directed by SS Rajamouli, and it is being made on a very big scale. Recently, the makers released the first glimpse video, which introduced Mahesh Babu’s character Rudhra. Now, new reports suggest that this glimpse may get an even bigger platform.

According to industry talk, the first look video of Varanasi might be attached to James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third film in the Avatar series. If this happens, audiences across the world will get to see Mahesh Babu’s introduction video in theatres before the Hollywood movie begins. However, the makers of Varanasi have not confirmed this news yet.

Along with this, trailers of other major global films such as Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Avengers: Doomsday, and Steven Spielberg’s next UFO movie are also expected to be attached to the release of Avatar 3. This has made fans even more curious.

Avatar: Fire and Ash continues the story of Jake, Neytiri, and their family as they live with the Metkayina clan. Their peaceful life is disturbed when a new Na’vi tribe, the Mangkwan clan, enters the picture. The tribe’s leader, Varang, teams up with Quaritch, making the conflict on Pandora even more dangerous. The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, and many other big names. It is set to release on December 19, 2025, with two more sequels planned for 2029 and 2031.

Coming back to Varanasi, the movie is described as an action-adventure story with a time-travel element. Mahesh Babu plays an explorer on a mission to save the world. Priyanka Chopra Jonas plays Mandakini, while Prithviraj Sukumaran appears as the villain Kumbha. The film is expected to continue shooting throughout 2026 and may release in Summer 2027.
