ChatGPT Prompt For Indian Diet Plan:
Technology has become a big part of our health routines today. People use smartwatches to track steps, apps to monitor sleep, and online tools to plan workouts. Now, many are even using Artificial Intelligence to manage their diet and lose weight. Among the popular tools, ChatGPT is increasingly being used to create meal plans and calorie goals. A physiotherapist and nutrition expert, Rebecca Pinto, recently explained a very simple way to use ChatGPT to design a personalised Indian diet plan.
Rebecca, who runs Dr Rebecca’s Physiotherapy, shared this method on Instagram. Her approach has only two steps, but it helps anyone understand their calorie needs and create a plan that suits their lifestyle, food habits, and hunger timings.
In the first step, she suggests asking ChatGPT to calculate your:
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) – calories your body needs at rest
TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) – calories you burn daily
Macros – ideal protein, fat, and carbohydrate ratio for fat loss
To get these numbers, you just need to give your age, gender, height, weight, and daily activity level. These details help ChatGPT calculate how much you should ideally eat every day to lose weight safely.
Once you know your calorie target, you move to the next step. You tell ChatGPT about:
How many meals you eat daily
When you feel the most hungry
Foods you like or dislike
Whether you eat vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or eggetarian food
Your preference for simple and affordable Indian ingredients
Using this information, ChatGPT creates a meal plan that matches your needs. You can also ask for more options, recipe ideas, or snack replacements anytime.
Rebecca explains that this method works because the plan is customised, easy to follow, and based on your natural eating pattern. Instead of guessing or following strict diets, you receive a balanced routine created just for you.
With the right prompts, AI is becoming more than just a tool for writing emails—it can now help people build healthier habits, understand their body better, and stay consistent with their weight-loss goals.
