Still among the most adored actors in South India, Tamannaah Bhatia’s every move in her relationship with actor Vijay Varma was followed and discussed once it became known. Vijay has spoken in depth about some of the causes that drove him away from this marriage some months after their separation.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, he claimed that the immense strain from critical individuals on his personal life was becoming too much. He thought every single behaviour, idea, movement, even his word choices were under such close examination that he couldn’t breathe.
Regarding emotional stress, Vijay said, “I needed an outlet from it.” I sought clarity and some calm. I sensed the call to back away from all the noise. Nothing was under my influence, though. Everywhere my life and every choice were being debated and broken down. I found myself in the media almost every day. I exceeded my limit. Only when I understood what happens when a relationship is made public did I start.”
This discovery exposes his unstable shift into the previous state of equilibrium apart from the never-ending media attention and expectations that came with being in a prominent relationship.
Reports show that March of this year saw the split of the pair. Many believed would lead to marriage, they eventually mutually decided to stop for most of their relationship. Early accounts stated that both celebrities wanted to treat each other with respect and a minimum of dignity, hence creating friendship despite their split.
During the production of Lust Stories 2, Netflix’s anthology released in 2023, Tamannaah and Vijay Varma developed a close relationship. Though both performers were fiercely intent to keep their personal lives under wraps, their on-screen pairing was quickly followed by same chemistry off-screen that the media started to notice.
