Drishyam 3 to Release in 3–4 Months: Confirms Jeethu Joseph

Drishyam 3 Release Date: Filming for Mohanlal’s eagerly awaited Drishyam 3 has officially concluded, as the producers have announced on social media. Director Jeethu Joseph has now stated that the movie will be released in the next three to four months, adding to the excitement.

“The post-production is currently on,” Jeethu Joseph stated while speaking at the JioHotstar South Unbound event. In the following three to four months, the movie should be released. Fortunately, we are arriving ahead of the Hindi version.

This announcement follows earlier rumors that the Hindi and Telugu remakes of the Malayalam movie would be released concurrently. But it now seems obvious that the Mohanlal-led original will be the first to open in theaters. Drishyam 3 recently made headlines due to a significant commercial transaction in which Panorama Studios and Pen Studios jointly purchased the global theatrical and digital rights to the Mohanlal film.

According to reports, the rights were sold for an incredible sum, which is a major turning point in the expanding Malayalam cinema industry. The gripping story of Georgekutty, a lowly cable TV operator who lives a quiet life with his wife and daughters, is told in the third movie of the Jeethu Joseph-directed series. Their entire existence is upended when they get embroiled in the case of Varun Prabhakar, the missing son of IG Geetha Prabhakar.

As suspicion increases and evidence begins to point to Georgekutty, the film explores the truth and the family’s struggle through a horrific inquiry. Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Roshan Basheer, and numerous more played important parts in the original.

In the meantime, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, and Tabu feature in the Hindi version of Drishyam. The Bollywood adaptation of Drishyam 3, which is directed by Abhishek Pathak, was supposed to start filming in December of this year, but there have been no updates on its status.
