Aadhaar Hacking:

Aadhaar center operators across Telangana are reporting unusual email alerts indicating repeated login attempts at midnight. Several operators reported that someone used their biometric IDs multiple times to access the UIDAI system.These alerts have sparked fear of hacking among operators who suspect cybercriminals might be trying to misuse their credentials.

Aadhaar Hacking:

The alerts were not isolated to one area; reports came in from Nizamabad, Hyderabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Medakband other districts. Many operators said they received 20 to 100 login attempt messages between midnight and early morning.

Operators Fear Data Breach and Identity Misuse

Some operators said a few login attempts were even successful. They now worry that hackers might be using their IDs to make Aadhaar changes for people from other states or even countries. “If terrorists or criminals obtain fake Aadhaar cards using our IDs, we could face serious legal trouble,” said an operator from Hyderabad.

The operators suspect either a major technical glitch or a potential hacking attempt. They expressed concern that their login IDs could be exploited for illegal activities, including issuing Aadhaar cards to fake identities.

Repeated Complaints, But No Response Yet

Many operators have already complained to UIDAI and MeeSeva officials several times, but they say no concrete action has been taken so far. “We have been receiving dozens of alert emails every night for weeks. Yet, there’s no update from the authorities,” said Srikanth, an operator from Kamareddy district.

Another operator from Gadwal district said he received 31 alerts in one night, while one from Hyderabad reported over 200 attempts within six days. Despite repeated complaints, the issue remains unresolved, adding to the anxiety of thousands of operators across the state.

The operators are urging UIDAI to investigate the problem urgently and provide clarity. They say timely action is essential to prevent possible misuse of sensitive Aadhaar data.
