Andhra King Taluka Collections: This Telugu action entertainer Andhra King Taluka made a decent start at the domestic box office. With strong regional buzz and the typical mass treatment in place, the film managed good footfall on its opening day, especially in A and B centres. Its performance being steady, the big question remains: How much more does the movie need to return in breakeven?
As per early estimates from film trade analysts, on Thursday Andhra King Taluka collected ₹4.15 crore net. In terms of earnings, the Telugu version was at ₹4.13 crore while the Kannada version made a negligible contribution of ₹0.02 crore.
Slight dip on the second day but decent occupancy continued to maintain. Day 2 (Friday) is pegged at ₹3.00 crore net approximately, with good support from evening and night shows in the Telugu states.
This early trend does point to an impressive arrival, but the weekend performance shall assume huge importance in mapping the full path.
The film is receiving mixed-to-positive word of mouth, particularly for the action scenes and performances of the lead actors. Revenue is expectedly solid in the mass circuits, while its response in the urban centres is much more tempered.
A solid showing on Saturday and Sunday will be critical for the film to maintain a steady total in its first week. If the film kicks into high gear by Day 3, it will certainly lessen its fall on the weekdays.

Sources from the trade estimate that Andhra King Taluka needs to pull in around ₹25–28 crore gross worldwide to get to the breakeven point considering its production and marketing costs. Having already got ₹7.15 crore from India, the film now needs a considerable increase in earnings over the weekend.
If it can hold in the Telugu states and if Karnataka shows some stronger returns that would help the movie be safe.
