It had everything – Andhra King Taluka, a regional hit, and India-wide buzz over Tere Ishk Mein – reiterating that the business in theatres was booming all weekend. Here’s a complete break-up of how each major release performed during its first few days.


Andhra King Taluka Continues Steady Momentum

Andhra King Taluka created a rip-roaring opening with ₹ 4.15 crores on Day 1. The opening was mainly thanks to good Telugu markets. While the film had a dip on Friday collecting ₹ 3.1 crores, it saw an upward rise on Saturday with ₹ 3.65 crores and early estimates suggest maintaining numbers on Sunday too. The 4-day total stands at ₹ 14.55 crores, i.e., decent hold, indeed for a mid-range action entertainer.

Tere Ishk Mein Owns Nationally

It would be safe to call Tere Ishk Mein the treasurer performer of the week. It stormed the box office with ₹ 16 crores in its opening day and maintained the upward curve with a ₹ 17 crore collection on Day 2. Sunday hosted an impeccable ₹ 18.75 crore, elevating the 3-day total to a whopping ₹ 51.75 crore. Riding on huge word-of-mouth, the romantic drama now stands to have massively emerged as the largest grosser of the week.


Revolver Rita and Gustaakh Ishq Hold Limited Ground

Despite a cool theme, Revolver Rita mangled to collect while it kept a decent 0.75 on Friday and on Saturday and then slightly dipped on Sunday to round off weekend collections at ₹ 2.09 crores.

Gustaakh Ishq opened on a lower note at ₹ 0.5 crore, continuing its downslide as the weekend progressed; it finally capped at ₹ 1.3 crore over the three days.

Zootopia 2 Startling Growth

Outside Indian releases, Zootopia 2 made a remarkable jump. The film opened to ₹ 1.6 crores-the collections increased and almost doubled on Saturday, adding ₹ 3.25 crores, to which an addition of ₹ 3.5 crores further made up on Sunday. With a total of ₹ 8.35 crores, the animated sequel spent strong growth in all markets with English-speaking audiences.
