Vijay’s Jana Nayagan: Vijay’s next feature, Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth, is already the subject of innumerable conversations even before its release. Recently, industry sources disclosed news that it had fetched a whopping amount of ₹106.5 crore selling Tamil Nadu distribution rights, which would make this deal one of the biggest-ever pre-release ones for a Vijay film.
The film is set to hit the screens on January 9 in theatres, and hype is increasing over this date. More dynamism was added. According to trade analysts, Jana Nayagan’s official trailer will be out on December 31, setting up the promotional phase.
Film editor Pradeep E. Raghav recently has made comments that intrigued a lot of public attention pertaining to the project when he said: “If I say anything more, they might remove me from the film.” He added it as a joke and revealed that there is so much he would like to state about the film. He also promised fans that Jana Nayagan has “100 percent Vijay-ism”, and has made some strong points that would highlight the mass pull of the star.
A great star-cast including, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Naren, Priyamani, and Mamitha marks this film. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions banner, the movie promises high production values with an emotional depth associated with director H. Vinoth’s filmmaking style.
Adding that extra zing, Vijay’s three favorite directors are reportedly seen together in a special song sequence, which furthers the thrill of fans about this special cameo collaboration.
With the assumption that Vijay is about to embark on a missionary journey into politics, the fan base wishes to know whether Jana Nayagan will signal his entry into that elite club of 1000 crores worldwide collection. The last release, The GOAT, racked in over ₹456 crore worldwide, marking a lavish success.
