Class 10 Exam Schedule:
The Andhra Pradesh government has officially announced the schedule for the upcoming Class 10 (SSC) public examinations. According to the School Education Department, the exams will begin on March 16, 2026, and are expected to continue until April 1, 2026. The department has sent the proposal to the government, which has now approved the plan.
This year, several new measures have been introduced to make the examination process more student-friendly and transparent. One major change is that hall tickets will now include a route map printed on the backside. Students can scan the QR code on the hall ticket to view directions to their examination centre on their mobile phones. This move will help students easily locate their centres and reach them without confusion.
In addition, the government has directed officials to identify 100 low-performing schools in each district and take special steps to improve their results. Every student appearing for the exam must have an Aadhaar ID, which is now mandatory for registration.
The selection of chief superintendents and invigilators will also be done through an online process to ensure fair and transparent exam management.
When it comes to fees, the education department has released the payment schedule. Regular students, once-failed candidates, and vocational students can pay their exam fees from November 13 to November 25, 2025, without any late fee. Those who miss the deadline can still pay with a late fee of ₹50 till December 3, ₹200 till December 10, and ₹500 till December 15.
Students are advised to make payments through the official school login portal to avoid any issues.
The state government has also planned to complete the Class 10 exams early to give students enough time to prepare for competitive and intermediate entrance exams.
This time, the Andhra Pradesh government aims to conduct the SSC exams more efficiently with the help of technology and better planning.
