Tamil Nadu CM Stalin Admitted to Hospital: On July 21, 2025, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin was taken to Apollo Hospital in Chennai after he experienced sudden light-headedness during his early morning walk. The incident, though minor, prompted immediate medical attention to ensure there were no underlying complications. Sources close to the Chief Minister emphasised that it was a brief episode of discomfort.
Upon arrival at Apollo Hospital, Stalin underwent a comprehensive set of medical tests as part of a routine precautionary check. Doctors confirmed that he was stable and in no immediate danger. The hospital’s medical team, led by Dr. Anil B.G., stated that the admission was mainly to observe and rule out any health risks through detailed evaluation. This approach is typical for senior political figures with demanding schedules.
The evaluations included cardiovascular screening, blood pressure monitoring, and neurological assessments. While no major medical concerns were found, doctors preferred to keep the Chief Minister under observation for a short period to monitor his condition and provide rest.
