Dileep Actress Assault Case Verdict: Before the final decision, actor Dileep, the eighth accused in the well-known actress assault case, departed his Aluva home at around 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Sarath G. Nair, a close friend and the tenth indicted in the case, was with him, as was his brother Anoop, who had arrived earlier. When the much-anticipated verdict is rendered, all of the accused are expected to be present in court.

Dileep Court Key Verdict Hearing Today: Timings

The hearings are scheduled to start around 11 am, and the actor is currently waiting in the presence of his attorney. Principal Sessions in Ernakulam Judge Honey M. Varghese has already arrived at the court to oversee the proceedings.

Ahead of the final decision in the high-profile actress assault case, police have increased security around the Ernakulam Principal Sessions Court. On the court grounds are senior officials, such as Ernakulam Central AC Raj Kumar.

The increased security measures are in preparation for a sizable public assembly eager to learn the outcome of the case. Since the morning, more police have been stationed, and to keep the peace, some limitations have been placed on journalists. The verdict announcement is set to start at 11 a.m., and impenetrable security measures have been put in place. The survivor has been fighting the lawsuit for six years, and the matter has been pending for more than eight years.

The actress was traveling from Thrissur for a shooting job when the incident in issue happened on February 17, 2017, close to Athani in Ernakulam. The prosecution claims that as part of a prearranged scheme, a gang under the leadership of Pulsar Suni kidnapped, attacked, and recorded disparaging images of the actress. Actor Dileep was detained in July 2017 while the conspiracy was being investigated, and the primary accused and others were promptly arrested.
