Prithviraj Responds to Criticism Over GlobeTrotter Poster Memes

Prithviraj Sukumaran, who debuted in Malayalam cinema through the movie Nandanam and has since still become one of South India’s most popular, famed actors, is gearing up for the release of his next Malayalam film, Vilayath Buddha. The trailer was recently released and got a lot of attention all over the social media platforms, but even more viral is this touching response from the actor to all that seems to be directed towards him.

At the trailer launch event when asked by the media on the criticism that he often gets his answer flicked with the zeal of his fans and took off virally. “You are the ones who raised me. So you have every right to criticize me. When I walk into Lulu Mall and see such a large crowd gathered, I know it’s because of your love and expectations. So you have full rights to criticize me. If I perform poorly, you have the right to point it out. The Malayalam audience who raised me have the highest authority to call out my mistakes. I only wish to give 100% of my abilities to cinema, and I am trying my best.”

Humble credit for criticism has gone well widely into people’s hearts and earned considerable applause going strong for him with the audience of Malayalam cinema.

Vilayath Buddha Releasing into Theatres On November 21

The film “Vilayath Buddha”, directed by Jayan Nambiar, is set to release in theatres on November 21. Prithviraj plays an intense layered role named “Double Mohan”, a sandalwood smuggler. The female lead is Priyamvada Krishnan, and Shammi Thilakan is into a power packed role.

This is in addition to the film, as he is also a part of S.S. Rajamouli’s big upcoming project-the film has Prithviraj apparently playing an important character known as Kumma. Most recently, his character look from the film was revealed which left fans even more excited about what more was to come in terms of his lineup.

With many such major projects lined up ahead, Prithviraj persists in cementing his claim as one of the best versatile and serious performers in Indian cinema.
