iBomma Admin Ravi Arrested: A key development has taken place in the iBOMMA case, a piracy website that has shaken the film industry. The CCS police have arrested Imadi Ravi, who is believed to be the main organizer of this platform. He was detained in the Kukatpally area soon after he arrived in Hyderabad from France on Friday night.

It is known that several Telugu film producers have recently filed an official complaint against iBOMMA. They have demanded that the investigation be expedited and the culprits be arrested, alleging that huge losses are being incurred due to content leaks before the release of the film. Based on those complaints, the CCS police have started an international-level investigation into the case. It is known that in this context, the accused indirectly challenged the police on social media and Telegram channels by saying, ‘Catch me if you dare’.

In this process, as the police stepped up their investigation, it was revealed that Imadi Ravi had settled in the Caribbean islands and was remotely managing the iBOMMA website from there. The authorities came to the conclusion that he was using the servers and digital networks there to distribute pirated content worldwide. The police, who monitored his movements, arrested him in the Kukatpally area immediately after he reached Hyderabad from France on Friday night.

Moreover, after Ravi’s arrest, the officials who conducted an inspection on the accounts of Imadi Ravi have reportedly frozen the bank balance of over Rs. 3 crore. It is suspected that this money came from iBOMMA activities. In this case, the police are already collecting data related to some other people in the wake of suspicions that they are also part of iBOMMA activities. It seems that more arrests are likely to be made in the coming days.
