Prabhas family financial crisis:
Prabhas, now a pan-Indian superstar didn’t always dream of becoming an actor. Even though he came from a film-connected family—his father was a film producer and his uncle was a well-known actor—Prabhas was a shy and quiet child. In an old interview with Man’s World India in 2022, he shared that when his family asked him to act as a child artist, he refused. He said he couldn’t imagine standing in front of so many people and performing.
However, things changed when his family faced a financial crisis during the 1970s. This difficult situation pushed him to think differently. He began to consider acting as a serious career option, even though it was not his first choice. He later joined acting classes, including sessions with the famous teacher ‘Dr. Satyanand’. These classes played a big role in helping Prabhas deal with his fear of performing in front of people.
In his own words, Prabhas admitted that he still feels nervous on stage, but the training he received helped him gain confidence. He even did exercises like pretending to be animals to become more expressive and open.
From being someone who never wanted to act to becoming one of India’s most loved actors, Prabhas’ journey is truly inspiring. His hard work and dedication turned his life around.
On the work front, Prabhas is busy with films like The Raja Saab, Salaar 2, Fauji, and Spirit. His latest release, Kalki 2898 AD, became a blockbuster proving once again that he is one of the biggest stars in the country.
Among these films The Raja Saab will be released first. The Raja Saab is romantic comedy horror film written and directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory The film features Prabhas in dual role alongside Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan (in her Telugu debut) and Riddhi Kumar in important roles.
