Honor released its new 500 series on November 24. The lineup includes Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro. Both pack huge 8,000mAh batteries for all-day power. They run on Android 16 with MagicOS 10. Four colors make them stylish choices.
Honor 500’s 12GB RAM + 256GB storage costs CNY 2,699. That’s about ₹34,000 in India. The 12GB + 512GB version hits CNY 2,999 or ₹37,000. Top 16GB + 512GB model reaches CNY 3,299 around ₹41,400. Pro starts higher at CNY 3,599 for 12GB + 256GB. Expect ₹45,200 for that. 12GB + 512GB Pro costs CNY 3,899 or ₹48,700. 16GB + 512GB version prices at CNY 4,199 about ₹52,700. Highest 16GB + 1TB Pro sells for CNY 4,799 roughly ₹60,300.
Both models feature 6.55-inch full HD+ LTPO OLED screens. Resolution measures 1,264 x 2,736 pixels sharply. Refresh rate hits 120Hz for smooth scrolls. Peak brightness reaches 6,000 nits outdoors. Pixel density ensures crisp views every time.
Honor 500 Pro uses Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset inside. It handles games and tasks with ease. An in-display fingerprint scanner adds quick security. Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. Dual SIM support works globally.
The Pro model features a triple rear setup that starts with a 200MP wide-lens configuration. The 3x optical zoom is supported by a 50MP telephoto lens. The 12MP ultrawide features both macro and ultra-wide capabilities. There’s a 50MP front-facing lens that’s great for selfies and video calls. Standard optical image stabilization (OIS) ensures that videos are always stable.
The Honor 500 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and there was no instance in daily use where it would slow down. The dual rear camera setup includes a 200MP primary camera. The second camera is fitted with a 12MP lens for capturing incredible detail from macro ranges. The 50MP front-facing camera can perform in a similar capacity as the Pro model.
The 8,000mAh battery includes a two-day battery life. The Pro model supports 80W rapid charging, as well. The base model has 27W reverse wired charging capabilities, though there is no wireless option as of yet. The weight of the 500 remains remarkably low at approximately 198 grams.
Both devices are remarkably thin at 7.8mm. They are offered in Aquamarine, Starlight Pink, Obsidian Black, and Moonlight Silver colors. The cold-carved back provides a crystal-type finish. Both models feature horizontal camera units that provide a modern touch. You will not find a card slot on either model.
