He was asked by the host if he wanted to take a break to which he said, “No I am fine.” The host then questions saying, what is it that hits you the most at this moment. The English man, says “I don’t know. it’s mysterious. This is why art is so important. Because it can get us to places that we can’t get to any other way. I think what’s hitting me is… I don’t know… It’s the preciousness. It’s the preciousness as we have been talking about. And it’s the longing for more. It’s like we all live. We all pass with so much more to know. With so much more longing. I don’t why it’s affecting me so deeply but I just feel this man’s writing.”


The Amazing Spider-Man hero reveals his weaknesses via his own dating experiences in this episode, which goes beyond a celebrity reading an essay. Martin sobs as Garfield recounts Huntington’s essay to him. His narration approach gives the piece an additional emotional depth. “I’m sad at losing anyone. I’m sad at the concept of not having children of my own. The sadness is a true longing and there is no shame in that,” the 41-year-old actor admits. “I long for love to connect with life and I want to live courageously true to myself,” he adds, offering a message on self-compassion.
