Vivo is bolstering its X series with X300 models, which they are currently teasing. The launch is upon us in China, with rumors unveiling compelling specifications. Will India see them soon after? The flagships focus on cameras and speed within the price point..!
The Vivo X300 series will launch in China on October 13th, 2025. Followed by a launch in India in November. It will then begin to roll out globally in December. Fans are impatient to get their hands on what is actively being called the “iPhone Killer.” Vivo is creating hype with unofficial leaks.
The base Vivo X300 will come in at a highly competitive Rs 54,990. A stellar price point for the bells and whistles provided. The X300 Pro costs Rs 69,990. More variants of the X300 will go up to or near Rs 99,999. Prices are in line with premium competitors. There are banking offers that may lessen the cost.
The Vivo X300 will have a 6.31 inch 8T LTPO BOE panel. It drops to 1 nit in pitch darkness – Advertisement states it is a great panel for dark rooms. The refresh rate can hit 120Hz when streaming videos or playing games. The X300 Pro utilizes a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED panel. Slim bezels improve immersion. Both variants have Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Both phones offer great colours!
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500 powers both models. The Vivo X300 will be the first phone to use this chip. They will have up to 16 GB of RAM for seamless multitasking. The storage options goes up to 512GB! Gaming is smooth. AI learning cemented in daily use is incredibly compelling.
The X300 offers a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor, along with a 50MP Sony IMX885 periscope telephoto, with the periscope being able to offer some zoom for the telephoto. A macro lens to capture all the details of life is also included. The X300 Pro has the same 200MP telephoto. The front-facing camera for selfies is 50MP. Night shooting should be strong.
At 7mm thick, the X300 and the X300 Pro are some of the thinnest flagship options, with the Pro having a flat display that lacks a curved edge. The rear display features a circular camera module in the middle. They also have an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. Although they are quite plain in color, the green and silver feel very premium and lush as color options.
The X300 has a 6000mAh battery, and supports 100W wired charging. The X300 Pro has a 7000mAh battery, along with charging speeds ranging to 120W, as well as 30W of wireless charging. It is easy to think of this as good for all-day use and should not be an issue.
With Funtouch OS 15 running on Android 15, it should be smooth. The fingerprint unlock is 3D ultrasonic and extremely fast. Transfer speeds are also high if using the high-spec USB-C. If you want reliable connectivity, it has 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC. An IR blaster is included to control devices.
The Vivo X300 series appears to have great camera specs and a slim fit. This may be largely to challenge competitors in 2025. Keep watch for official announcements in the near future!
