ZTE is developing an affordable smartphone, the Blade V80 Vita, and new images of the device have emerged online which reveal a familiar but high-quality design. The phone clearly borrows from Apple’s flagship devices as we’ve seen a similar design in the iPhone.
The images show a distinct camera group which spans the full width of the back of the device and contains three camera sensors and an LED flash on the right side. This is very similar layout to the camera group in the iPhone. Instead of Apple’s LiDAR scanner, there is a circular “Neo” logo.
The frame of the phone has flat corners giving it a modern and boxy design. Some of ZTE’s own distinctive design features are also here. There is a red-colored power button, as well as a custom programmable button on the left side for quick access to functions of your choice.
The phone includes a 3.5mm headphone jack next to the USB Type-C slot that many modern devices have eliminated. The availability of a headphone jack is a very large upside for users, as they are able to use wired headphones without an adapter.
This phone is perfect for budget-conscious buyers. It offers a stylish and trendy design. You get a premium look for a fraction of the cost. It also includes features missing from iPhones. The headphone jack is a key selling point.
ZTE is targeting a specific niche. They are combining a popular aesthetic with practical features. This strategy could appeal to a wide audience. The phone will likely be very affordable upon its release.
