The Finnish company Jolla has launched a new phone. This Jolla Phone is an upgraded model from 2013. It features a user-replaceable battery and back cover. The phone arrives in three distinct color options.
A pre-order requires a €99 deposit to buy the phone. This will be made by customers in the UK and EU when the phone becomes available. The pre-order total due when the phone ships is €499 (INR 52,284). The retail price will be between €599 to €699 (INR 73240). All customers who pre-order receive a special edition back cover. Shipping will begin by mid-2026 to numerous nations. After shipping to these nations, the launch of the phone will take place in both the UK and EU.
The phone has a 6.36-inch Full HD AMOLED screen, which is capable of displaying a pixel density of 390 pixels per inch(sharp). The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which prevents scratches. The phone utilizes the MediaTek 5G platform for wireless connection and internet access.
The phone has a very high capacity for multitasking due to the 12GB of RAM. The internal storage also includes 256GB. With the option of increasing the internal storage to up to 2TB, via microSD card. The operating system of the phone is Sailfish OS 5, which is unique and different from what is used in other phones.
The phone has a large capacity battery(5,500mAh) and will also maintain enough power for a long time. Physical privacy switches are included on the device(body), so users can safeguard their personal information. The dimensions of the device are approximately 158mm long and 9mm thick. User-friendly replaceable back covers are supplied with the device.
