Celebrated Telugu film director SS Rajamouli has now entered the world of video games. He and his son SS Karthikeya make a small but exciting appearance in the upcoming game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach created by famous Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima.

This surprise cameo follows Rajamouli and Karthikeya’s virtual meeting with Kojima, where they hinted at a possible collaboration. Interestingly, Rajamouli had previously met Kojima during the Japan promotions of RRR in 2022. At that time, he also experienced a special 360° screening at Kojima’s studio where he viewed their immersive and cutting-edge video content.

With the early access version of Death Stranding 2 now available to select players, some keen-eyed fans spotted two characters named “The Adventurer” and “Adventurer’s Son.” These characters closely resemble Rajamouli and Karthikeya, suggesting that the game features the father-son duo as a fun cameo.

Though the role is brief, this inclusion has thrilled both gaming communities and Telugu cinema fans. It shows how Rajamouli’s fame has crossed into new creative territories, proving his influence beyond the world of movies.
