Karnataka MLA warns Rashmika

Karnataka MLA warns Rashmika

Ravi Kumar, a Congress MLA, expressed his displeasure with Kannada film artists for their lack of participation in events about the state and the Kannada language.
His remarks followed the low turnout of Kannada actors at the International Film Festival in Bengaluru, which began on March 1 and runs through March 8.

Actors owe their achievement and fame to the people of Karnataka, Kumar emphasized. “All of these performers ought to realize that Kannadigas is the reason they are famous. Shivarajkumar was able to make it to the ceremony despite his poor health. What about the others, though?” he said.

The MLA likened this circumstance to that of Tamil Nadu, where performers of all political persuasions appear whenever the chief minister summons them for language or state-related reasons. He bemoaned the fact that when invited to such occasions, very few Kannada actors really show up.

“Those who express interest in our state and language should be encouraged and supported by the people of Karnataka.” Very few performers show up for the state’s event, Kannada Rajyotsava. We, Karnataka residents, should think twice about backing them if they disregard the state and language,” Kumar continued.

Echoing DCM DK Shivakumar’s views, the Congress MLA claimed that his criticism was warranted. “Are you indifferent to Kannada’s land, water, and language? “We must act immediately,” he said. He gave the example of performers who actively engaged in Kannada Rajyotsava events, such as Dr. Rajkumar, Ambareesh, and Vishnuvardhan.

MLA also said that actress Rashmika will receive advice from us. She was invited to the Kannada Film Festival, but she chose not to go, which has angered Karnataka Congress officials. She was acting in multiple languages while neglecting Kannada, which infuriated Congress MLA Ravikumar. According to her, she’s from Hyderabad. As Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has stated, Congress MLA Ravikumar cautions that the film industry must tighten its nuts and bolts.
