AP Free Gas Scheme: Deepam 2 Booking Ends in 5 Days

AP Free Gas Scheme: The Andhra Pradesh government is implementing the Deepam 2 scheme, providing free LPG cylinders to eligible families. The deadline to book the first free gas cylinder is March 31, 2025. Those who fail to book before this date will miss out on the subsidy.

Who Can Get a AP Free Gas Scheme?
The state government has assured three free LPG cylinders per year to poor families. Until now, 98 lakh beneficiaries have already received their first cylinder under the scheme. If you haven’t booked yours yet, do it immediately to avail of the subsidy.

Eligibility for the Deepam 2 Scheme
To qualify for the AP Free Gas Scheme, applicants must have:
✔ An LPG connection
✔ A white ration card
✔ An Aadhaar card linked to the ration card

How to Book For AP Free Gas Scheme?
⿡ Pay the full price when booking the cylinder.
⿢ Once delivered, the subsidy amount will be credited to your bank account within 48 hours.
⿣ The delivery timeframe is 24 hours in urban areas and 48 hours in rural areas.

Government Investment in the Scheme
The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated ₹2,684 crores for the Deepam 2 scheme. So far, ₹756 crores have been spent, benefiting nearly 98 lakh families.

Who Should Book Now?
If you haven’t received your first free gas cylinder, you have only five days left. Minister Nadendla Manohar urged eligible families to book before March 31 to claim their benefit.

How Are Free Cylinders Distributed?
Eligible beneficiaries get three free cylinders per year, which can be booked in April-July, August-November, and December-March.
