Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme: Eligibility & Support

The Telangana government has launched the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme to support unemployed youth from BC, SC, ST and minority communities. This scheme provides financial assistance to help them start self-employment businesses.The government aims to help 5 lakh youth across the state through this initiative.

Key Highlights of the Scheme

– Objective: To provide self-employment opportunities and financial support.
– Budget: ₹6,000 crore allocated for this scheme.
– Beneficiaries: Unemployed youth from BC, MBC, SC, ST and EBC categories.

Eligibility Criteria
– Age Limit:
– General schemes: 21 to 55 years
– Agriculture-related schemes: 21 to 60 years
– Annual Income Limit:
– Rural areas: ₹1.5 lakh
– Urban areas: ₹2 lakh

Required Documents

Candidates need to submit the following documents:
1. Aadhaar Card
2. Ration Card or Income Certificate
3. Caste Certificate
4. Pattadar Passbook (if applicable)
5. Disability Certificate (for specially-abled applicants)
6. Driving License (for transport-related schemes)

2. Select the Scheme: Choose the relevant category based on eligibility.
3. Upload Documents: Submit the required documents online.
4. Final Submission: Complete the application before April 5, 2025.

Financial Assistance & Subsidies
– 100% subsidy for units worth ₹50,000
– 80% subsidy for units worth ₹1 lakh – ₹2 lakh
– 70% subsidy for units up to ₹4 lakh (remaining amount as bank loan)

Special Reservations
– 25% of units reserved for women (priority for widows & single women)
– Special benefits for:
– Disabled candidates
– Families of Telangana movement activistsThe Mandal Level Screening Committee would verify the authenticity of the documents, eligibility of the candidates and assess the feasibility of the self-employment scheme selected by the candidate. List of eligible candidates, after approval by bankers or district officer would be forwarded to District Level Committee (DLC).
