House Pattas: During his election campaign, Minister Nara Lokesh promised to provide land pattas to the poor families living on government land in the Mangalagiri constituency. True to his word, he has begun fulfilling this promise with a new initiative called “Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh.” This program will ensure that the residents of Mangalagiri who have lived on government land for years finally receive permanent housing rights.
The Local Impact of the Promise
Many local residents are praising the minister, saying that once Lokesh makes a promise, he fulfills it. During the election, Lokesh assured the people that, if given the mandate, he would provide land pattas to the poor living on government land, granting them permanent rights to their homes. With a massive victory of 91,413 votes, Lokesh has started working on these promises from day one.
A Long-Standing Issue in Mangalagiri
The issue of land pattas has been a long-standing concern in Mangalagiri. For many years, poor families have lived on government land, building homes with their own hard work. Despite repeated promises from various leaders, the issue remained unresolved. Now, Minister Lokesh is addressing this issue with determination. Over the past ten months, he has worked hard to gather the details of these families and coordinated with various departments to ensure smooth distribution of the pattas.
The Distribution Process
In the first phase of the program, Minister Lokesh will distribute land pattas to 3,000 families. He has worked tirelessly to resolve challenges which include issues related to forest and railway lands. The first patta will be handed over in Undavalli village on April 3. Following that, Lokesh will distribute more pattas across different areas including Yerrabalem, Neerukonda, Kaja, Penumaka, and others.
