PM Modi can talk to all world leaders, Says Chile’s President

PM Modi with Chile’s President: PM Narendra Modi is a “key geopolitical player nowadays,” according to Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font, who also lauded his extraordinary abilities, pointing out that he can communicate with any leader in the globe.

He stated, “President Modi, you have the status nowadays that you can talk to every leader of the world,” during his speech at Rashtrapati Bhawan. You’re backing the European Union, Zelenskyy, Trump, and the Latin American leaders in Iran or Greece. No other leader can say that at this time. According to him, you are a major actor in the current geopolitical environment.

“I am here for the first time for a State visit,” he added, adding that he was grateful for the cordial reception he had received in India. I would want to express my gratitude for the kind reception we have received here. India has changed much over the last 16 years, and no one from Chile has visited here during that time.

PM Modi said, “India welcomes a special friend! It is a delight to host President Gabriel Boric Font in Delhi. Chile is an important friend of ours in Latin America. Our talks today will add significant impetus to the India-Chile bilateral friendship.”

Chile President Visit to India and Schedule:

President Gabriel Boric Font is a pleasure to have in Delhi. One of our most significant Latin American allies is Chile. Our discussions today will give the bilateral partnership between India and Chile a major boost. The Chilean president is currently visiting India from April 1–5, 2025, at PM Modi’s invitation, to mark the conclusion of 76 years of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Alongside President Boric are members of Parliament, senior officials, business leaders, and ministers of foreign affairs, agriculture, mining, women and gender equality, and cultures, arts, and heritage. President Boric will travel to Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Agra in addition to New Delhi. President Boric is in India for the first time. According to MEA, President Boric and Prime Minister Modi first met in November 2024 when attending the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro.
