YSRCP criticizes Chandrababu Naidu: YSRCP leader B. Karunakar Reddy alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is considering Lord Venkateswara Swamy as a brand ambassador by opening a TTD temple inside a real estate firm. Reddy objected to the TDP government’s alleged support to build a Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) temple inside a private real estate venture in G Square.
Reddy alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was treating Lord Venkateswara Swamy as a brand ambassador for real estate promotion by allowing the construction of a TTD temple inside a private enterprise. YSRCP leader B. Karunakar Reddy accused the TDP, BJP, and Janasena of failing to protect the sanctity of Tirumala. He condemned the alleged VIP favoritism in Tirumala. He said that common devotees were neglected.

In a recently held press conference, Reddy said, “Chandrababu Naidu is treating Lord Venkateswara Swamy as a brand ambassador for real estate promotion by allowing a TTD temple inside a private venture.” The YSRCP leader criticized the venture for allegedly commercializing Tirumala’s sanctity and questioned whether the temple body would permit other builders to use Lord Venkateswara for business purposes.
He accused NDA allies—TDP, BJP, and Janasena—of failing to safeguard Tirumala’s sanctity, citing concerns over liquor and meat sales in the region, ignoring drug-related attacks on devotees, and vacant key posts. Allegations of VIP favoritism were also condemned, with claims that common devotees were being overlooked. Additionally, Reddy also targeted Nara Lokesh’s assistant for allegedly “misusing” VIP recommendation letters. B. Karunakar Reddy urged the central government to investigate the alleged weakening of institutions established by the previous YSRCP administration.
