PM Modi Criticizes Stalin, Promotes Tamil Language

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday talked about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. He said that the central government has given more money to Tamil Nadu than the UPA government, but some people keep crying about it. He also questioned the DMK leaders for signing their letters in English instead of Tamil. He also targeted the questions being raised about the new education policy.


PM Modi Criticizes Stalin:

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘The government is constantly working to ensure that the Tamil language and Tamil heritage reach every corner of the world. Sometimes, I am surprised when I get letters from some leaders of Tamil Nadu; none of them have signatures in the Tamil language. If we are proud of Tamil, I would request everyone to at least sign their names in Tamil’. Tamil Nadu’s rail budget also increased seven times. – PM

Addressing the public meeting after inaugurating the Pamban Bridge in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, PM Modi, without naming Stalin, said the central government has allocated three times more funds for the development of the state in the last decade than the previous government. He said the amount of money we have provided for the development of Tamil Nadu from 2014 till now is three times more than what was done when the Congress was in power. At that time DMK was a part of the Congress. Tamil Nadu’s rail budget has also increased seven times. Some people have a habit of crying without reason; they keep crying over it.

Start medical courses in the Tamil language—Modi.

During this, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘I would urge the Tamil Nadu government to start medical courses in the Tamil language so that children from poor families can also fulfill their dream of becoming doctors. Our effort is to ensure that the youth of our country do not have to go abroad to become doctors. Tamil Nadu has gotten 11 new medical colleges in the last 10 years.
