PM Modi talks about MUDRA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a special conversation with the beneficiaries on the 10th anniversary of the Mudra scheme. During this, he also indirectly targeted the opposition. He said that collateral-free loans of Rs 33 lakh crore have been given under the Mudra scheme. During this, PM Modi also said that the Mudra scheme is not to praise Modi. This scheme is to give the youth of my country the courage to stand on their own two feet.’
PM Modi said that Rs 33 lakh crore has been given to the people of the country without any guarantee. You read in the newspaper that this is a government of the rich. Even if you add all the rich, they would not have gotten Rs 33 lakh. Rs 33 lakh crore has been given to the common man of the country. Today, the youth of India, with the entrepreneurial skills they have, if they get a little help, they can achieve massive results. This Mudra Yojana is an eye-opener for any government. Most of the people who have come forward in this are women.
PM Modi said, ‘It has been 10 years since this scheme was implemented. What is the nature of the government in general? They make decisions, hold press conferences, and announce that we will do this and then call some people and light a lamp. People clap, and it gets published in the newspaper, and after that, no one asks. This government is such that it evaluates the results of a scheme after 10 years. We are asking the beneficiaries about their experience, and if there is a need to bring any change in it, some improvement is needed; then we are going to move forward in that direction as well.
There are many employed people in the country who want to start their own business. However, due to a lack of money and information, they are unable to give concrete shape to the idea of starting their own business. Keeping this in mind and to promote self-employment in the country, the Government of India is running a very wonderful scheme. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. Under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, the Government of India is providing a loan of Rs 20 lakh without guarantee to the people to start their own business.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, a loan is provided to the beneficiary under three categories. In this, a loan of up to Rs 50 thousand is provided in the Shishu category. In the Kishore category, the government gives a loan of Rs 10 lakh. At the same time, in the Tarun category, the government gives a loan of Rs 20 lakh to the beneficiary.
Mudra Yojana has given opportunities to countless people to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. Interacted with some of the beneficiaries of the scheme. Their journey is inspiring. #10YearsOfMUDRA https://t.co/QcoIK1VTki
