Dharani to Bhubharati: The Telangana government has launched a new portal named Bhubharati to manage agricultural lands more efficiently. This new system replaces the previous Dharani portal. Bhubharati started as a pilot project in four selected mandals. Soon, it will be available across the entire state.
Dharani to Bhubharati:
The four mandals chosen for the pilot project are Nelakondapalli in Khammam district, Lingampet in Kamareddy district, Venkatapuram in Mulugu district and Maddur in Narayanpet district. In these areas land transactions must now be done only through the Bhubharati portal.
The portal offers two types of services: Transactional Services and Information Services. Each service has multiple features that make land management easier for citizens.
Transactional Services:
Registration allows easy processing of land transactions such as sale, gift, lease, GPA and mortgage.
Mutation enables the transfer of land rights. Authorities complete the process within a specific time frame.
ROR Correction helps correct errors in land records.
NALA permits changing agricultural land into non-agricultural use.
Appeal and Revision gives citizens the right to appeal decisions made by revenue officers. Appeals can go from Tahsildars to RDOs, then to District Collectors, and finally to the Tribunal.
Information Services:
Market Value of Land provides current market values.
Land Details Search gives information about specific lands.
Prohibited Properties shows a list of lands under restriction.
E Challan and Application Status shows the status of submitted applications and challan details.
Registration Document Details gives access to completed registration records.
To access these services, users need to log in. Citizens can use their personal credentials to log in and get all necessary information and services through the Bhubharati portal.
