Amit Shah meets families & pays tributes to the victims

Amit Shah in Pahalgam: In a striking visual protest against the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam that killed 28 people, mostly tourists, and injured several others, the front pages of Kashmir’s major newspapers went dark on Wednesday.

Following one of the bloodiest attacks in the area in recent memory, the coordinated editorial blackout acted as a call for accountability and a collective scream of pain. Amit Shah, the home minister, visited the scene of the Pahalgam incident and paid respects to the tourists who were killed.

Take A Look At The Tweet:

In his recent tweet addressing this issue, Amit Shah said, “Anguished by the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. My thoughts are with the family members of the deceased. Those involved in this dastardly act of terror will not be spared, and we will come down heavily on the perpetrators with the harshest consequences.”

In the conclusion, he said, “Briefed PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji discussed the incident and met with the concerned officials via video conferencing. Will shortly leave for Srinagar to hold an urgent security review meeting with all the agencies.”

India endured one of its most brutal attacks when terrorists in Pahalgam, disguised as local police, stormed the area and forced male tourists to recite Islamic verses. Survivors say the gunmen singled out each man, asking whether he was Hindu or Muslim before opening fire. With no security detail in place, the tourists couldn’t defend themselves, and only a one-sided execution followed.
