Amaravati Gears Up for PM Modi’s Visit with Massive Preparations

Amaravati Gears Up for PM Modi’s Visit:
Amaravati is witnessing fast paced arrangements. The state government is getting ready to restart capital city development works. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the official relaunch on May 2.

Amaravati Gears Up for PM Modi’s Visit:

Officials are preparing eight main roads to help people reach the public meeting site. Minister Narayana is overseeing all arrangements. He reviewed the conditions of these roads and examined the progress personally for nearly two hours.

Minister and Police Inspect Road Infrastructure

Minister Narayana worked with Guntur Range IG Sarvasreshta Tripathi and District SP Satish Kumar to review key roadways. Between 2014 and 2019, the government constructed many roads with a budget of ₹5,000 crores. The minister reminded that PM Modi had laid the foundation stone for Amaravati in 2015.

New Government Revives Amaravati Plans

The earlier administration failed to fix a single capital. This caused Amaravati to lose development and turn into unused land. After taking charge, CM Chandrababu Naidu visited Amaravati. He ordered an immediate restart of all works.

₹64,000 Crore Development Tenders

The Amaravati Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) approved plans for tenders worth ₹64,000 crores. Tenders for ₹41,000 crores are already completed. The related works have started. CM Naidu decided to relaunch these projects in the presence of PM Modi.

PM Modi’s Itinerary

Prime Minister Modi will arrive at Gannavaram Airport at 3 PM on May 2. A 1.1 kilometer roadshow is scheduled in Amaravati. He will reach the public meeting venue after the roadshow. The event will run from 4 PM to 5 PM.

Large Scale Gathering Expected

Officials expect around 5 lakh attendees. Preparations are being made to handle the crowd. Routes E11, E13, E15 and the Seed Axis Road will manage the vehicle flow. Police have suggested filling potholes. Eleven parking zones are under setup.

Multiple Entry Points and Traffic Control

People can access the event from Mangalagiri, Tadepalli, West Bypass, Prakasam Barrage, Tadikonda and Harischandrapuram. Traffic teams are working to avoid congestion. Minister Narayana directed CRDA to fix all roads within two days based on police suggestions.
