CM Chandrababu Naidu: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the pivotal position of Visakhapatnam. To realize the state’s ambitious dream of ‘Swarna Andhra’. The vision gives a blue print for revolutionary growth by 2047 with a goal of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of USD 2.4 trillion and per capita income of USD 42,000.
Visakhapatnam, popularly referred to locally as Vizag, is the per capita income leader of the state. Naidu wants Vizag with its solid infrastructure, favourable location. And abundance of resources to become a financial capital and a think tank. All these schemes are set to convert the port city into the corner-stone of the development plan of Andhra Pradesh. Naidu stressed the city’s sole hopes of opening the centenary building of Andhra Medical College, further stating that Vizag’s development can bring about statewide transformation.
The Chief Minister listed some of the main projects in the pipeline. That would make Vizag develop quickly and make its importance even more in the vision of Swarna Andhra. Development of Bhogapuram Airport and pre-maturation of metro rail within a few years can ensure improved connectivity and urbanization. Naidu stressed the importance of starting these projects in a planned schedule to allow generation of their good effect on quality of life and economic growth.
Swarna Andhra@2047 encodes ambitious vision based on making the most of the strengths of the state, and Vizag is in the forefront. Strategic investment in finance, knowledge industries, and infrastructure efforts try to push Andhra Pradesh on to the global arena.
