Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that his government is not against delimitation. “We only want equal representation for all states.The Centre must hold consultations with all parties. It must explain the basis behind the process,” he said.

Revanth Reddy on Delimitation:

Speaking virtually at a session hosted by The Hindu in Bengaluru, he shared several key points about Telangana’s development model. “Our policies are guiding the country. The central government should consider adopting the Telangana model in areas like social justice and welfare.”


He explained how the state is combining welfare with growth. “We are preparing plans for a Net Zero City. We have designed the first Future City in India. Tax on electric vehicles has been removed. We are building a 360 km Regional Ring Road.The government promotes regional industrial growth with better infrastructure.”

“Inside the Regional Ring Road, we are developing industrial parks for sectors like IT, EVs, and automobiles. Plans are ready for a dry port. All this is to attract industries and improve the economy.”

Revanth Reddy shared Telangana’s achievements in investments. “We have attracted over ₹2 lakh crore in investments. These strengthen the state economy. Our goal is to bring in more companies through well-planned strategies.”

He spoke about Telangana’s inclusive development model.”Our survey covers SC, ST, BC, minorities, and EWS groups. This survey helps us serve people better. It’s not just for BCs. Telangana took this step based on Supreme Court guidelines. The Centre should follow it too.”

In education, he said, “We are merging isolated residential schools to promote socialisation among children. The Young India Residential Schools are a major step.”

On farming, Revanth Reddy added, “We waived ₹21,617 crore in farm loans for over 25 lakh farmers. We give ₹12,000 yearly input subsidy and 24-hour free power.We pay a ₹500 bonus per quintal on paddy.”

“For self-help groups with 67 lakh women, we offer solar power opportunities and school-related services. Women can travel free in RTC buses.”

In employment, he noted, “We gave 59,000+ government jobs in our first year. Skill and sports universities are being launched. We are upgrading 105 ITIs in partnership with Tata Technologies.”
