Tiranga Rally in Vijayawada:
A massive Tiranga Rally will take place today in Vijayawada. This rally is part of the Operation Sindoor Victory Celebrations. The Andhra Pradesh government is organizing the event. The rally honors the Indian Army’s success in the recent anti-terrorist operation in Pahalgam.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will lead the rally. Many MPs, ministers, MLAs and government officials will join. The rally will begin at 5 PM at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium. It will move through the city and end at Benz Circle. Around 5,000 people will take part in the rally. Students will carry a 500-meter-long Indian national flag.
Traffic restrictions begin in Vijayawada from 4 PM to 8 PM. Vehicles cannot move on Mahatma Gandhi Road. Vijayawada Police Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu asked the public to cooperate with traffic control efforts.
Traffic from Ramavarappadu to Varadhi will shift through Mahanadu, Autonagar, Patamata, NTR Circle and Krishnaveni School Road. Vehicles from Penamaluru to Benz Circle must follow Autonagar Gate and Mahanadu Junction. Vehicles moving from Penamaluru to Varadhi should use Patamata, NTR Circle, Krishnaveni Road, Ramalingeswaranagar and Screw Bridge.
RTC buses from Visakhapatnam and Eluru must follow Ramavarappadu Ring, Eluru Road, Gunadala, Chuttugunta, Vijay Talkies, Swarna Palace, and PCR Junction. Buses from Machilipatnam and Gudivada must follow Tadigadapa 100 Feet Road, Enikepadu, Ramavarappadu Ring and the same final route.
VIP vehicles must park at the Handball Court inside Indira Gandhi Stadium. Officials and police must use the City Armed Reserve Grounds. Public vehicles from the West Constituency must park at Bishop Azariah School and CSI Church. Visitors from the Central Constituency should use Satavahana College Grounds. Vehicles from the East Constituency must park near Siddhartha Hotel Management College and Old Government Hospital Road.
Cultural programs will take place at key junctions. These include Dappu beats, Garaga dance, and drum shows. Every participant will receive a national flag. Drinking water and medical camps will be available. District officers will manage arrangements for a smooth rally.
