Prime Minister Narendra Modi again turned sharply against cross-border terrorism, PM Modi Slams Pakistan of continued patronage of terror. Addressing an address to a public meeting in Bhuj, Gujarat, Modi again asserted that India’s struggle is against terrorism, not against Pakistanis. Modi made these comments following escalated tensions following Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military response to terror attacks emanating from Pakistan.
Modi reiterated India’s zero-tolerance policy on terrorism and made it clear that any plot to harm Indian citizens would be responded to with a stern reply. He emphasized how Operation Sindoor attacked with precision terrorist outfits in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), showcasing the military might and strategic prowess of India.
Pakistan’s Role in Terrorism
The Prime Minister blamed Pakistan’s military and government for making terror a means of money. Using extremist forces for political and economic interests. He called upon the citizens of Pakistan to ponder their nation’s direction, asking them if their leaders are working in their good for tomorrow.
India’s Global Diplomatic Drive Against Terrorism
India has launched a major diplomatic outreach, sending all-party delegations to 33 countries to rally global support against terrorism. Leaders from various Nations and political parties which includes Congress, BJP, DMK, and NCP, are involved. Interesting detail about this is that the parties are engaging with foreign governments to expose Pakistan’s terror links. And push for international action to promote peace.
Modi’s Message to Pakistan’s Citizens
Modi opened up about the ongoing strikes and left a message to the Pakistani people directly, encouraging them to reject terrorism and look for peace. He warned Pakistan that if it continues to harbor terrorists, it will have serious ramifications. He also compared India’s economic emergence as the fourth-largest economy of the world to the destiny of Pakistan and brought to the mind of all people the need to have Pakistan’s youth free of extremist forces.
