BJP Slams Revanth Reddy: It is well known that Congress leaders are demanding to know how many Rafale fighter jets were shot down during Operation Sindoor. In this context, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who spoke at a meeting yesterday, also made comments asking to know the number of Rafale fighter jets shot down. However, the BJP has recently responded to these comments. In particular, the party’s MP Sambit Patra has been extremely angry. Instead of doubting Operation Sindoor, he has made a lot of noise and said that they should go and hold a press meet with Pakistan. On Friday, MP Sambit Patra spoke to the media at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
He expressed his anger that Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Revanth Reddy and other leaders are making controversial comments regarding Operation Sindoor. He said that his party leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, are not asking how many air bases were destroyed in Pakistan, how many terrorists were killed, but only how many Rafale fighter jets were shot down by Pakistan. Sambit Patra said that two factions have now formed in the Congress, one of which supports Pakistan, while the second faction is unable to raise its voice in support of India because of the first faction.
He criticized the Congress for making their Jai Hind Yatra like Pakistan’s Hind Yatra. Also said it would be better if the Congress leaders stopped their yatra. He also challenged BJP MP Sambit Patra to go and hold a press conference with Pakistan, referring to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He reminded that Jairam Ramesh had made comments comparing the all-party MP teams appointed to convey India’s stance on terrorism to terrorists (it is known that Jairam Ramesh had commented that MPs are travelling around the world, terrorists are also travelling around the world).
Sambit Patra reminded that they did not go on fun trips but went abroad to inform the world about India’s fight against terrorism. Sambit said that it is good to remember that Congress party MPs were also in that group. Speaking on Thursday, Revanth Reddy criticized Prime Minister Modi for spending thousands of crores of public money to buy Rafale fighter jets. He said that how many of those fighter jets were shot down by Pakistan, and that there should be a discussion on that issue and answers should be known. In this context, Revanth Reddy also criticized the Tiranga Yatra undertaken by the BJP. He said that the BJP had damaged the morale of the Indian soldiers with its actions and that the Congress party was undertaking the Jai Hind Yatra as a counter to the Tiranga Yatra undertaken by that party.
