YS Jagan Points Out CM Chandrababu Naidu On SSC Exam Scam

Andhra Pradesh’s SSC Class 10 result evaluation controversy recent controversy ignited harshest of criticisms against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Education Minister Nara Lokesh. Mismanagement, procedural mistakes in the results, and leaked question papers have caused frustration among students and parents and are raising alarms regarding the education system of the state. YS Jagan Points Out CM Chandrababu Naidu On SSC Exam Scam.

Exam Mismanagement and Student Distress

More than 6.14 lakh students had written the SSC exams, fighting hard for a safe future. But marking answer sheets’ irregularities and result announcements have been creating apprehension among the students and parents. Several students have objected to their marks and ranks, which are impacting IIIT admissions, Gurukul Junior Colleges, etc.

Question Paper Leaks and Marking Errors
There were instances of question paper leakage, yet another blow to the integrity of the examination process. In spite of all the drawbacks, the government did not release corrections for errors in evaluation, and re-evaluation requests in large numbers poured in. More than 34,709 students requested 66,363 re-evaluation forms, and 16,000 students had their marks changed.

Impact on Educational Reforms
Critics feel that all of the progressive education reforms initiated by Andhra Pradesh—Nadu-Nedu, Gorumudda, English medium schools, transitioning from CBSE to IB, learning TOEFL from Class 3 onwards, and digital learning programs—were watered down or mishandled by the current government. The cutting of initiatives like Amma Vodi, helping mothers to send their children to school, has also been criticized.

YS Jagan Points Out CM Chandrababu

The former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has called for free re-correction of answer papers for everyone who desires it without paying any fee. He also desired a short-term suspension of admissions on SSC marks until the outcome of the final results is announced. Aside from that, he demands that the responsibility of the blunders be lodged on the shoulders of Education Minister Nara Lokesh and taking steps against the culprits.
